Jack Lawrence
ZoomSystems’ President & CEO.
Jack oversees the strategy and day-to-day operations of ZoomSystems.
Jack has more than 26 years of experience in the telecommunications, entertainment, consumer products and services industries. Jack is a proven manager of global operations including sales, marketing, product development, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and finance. Jack comes to ZoomSystems from ZillionTV where he was CEO. He has also held top executive positions at Corgi International, Cranium, Dotcast, AT&T Communications and Chambers Communications.
Jack holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University, plus an MBA from Rutgers University and an MBA from Seton Hall University.
Gower Smith
Co-Chairman, Founder & President of ZoomSystems Asia.
Gower founded ZoomSystems, continues to help develop and drive our strategic vision, and oversees all Asia-Pacific business development and operations.
Before founding ZoomSystems in 2002, Gower created shareholder wealth in six Asian technology businesses, including numerous successful startups: ComputerLand, the Australian distribution for Apple computer products, Archives Computers, a networking and software company that was later sold to Impact Systems, and Boomerang Imaging Supplies. Gower led the turnaround of Impact Systems, which was acquired by Gestetner, and became responsible for Gestetner’s Asian marketing operations.
Gower completed his radio technician certificate with the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation, and studied microprocessors at the Melbourne Institute of Technology and Caulfield Institute of Technology.
Dave Schwab
Co-Chairman, is Managing Director at Sierra Ventures. Prior to joining Sierra, Dave held senior positions with Lockheed Corporation, 1979 – 1984 (Engineering) and Sun Microsystems, 1986 – 1991 (Sales Management), and co-founded Scopus Technology Inc,. where he held the position of Vice President, Sales.
Steve Williams
is Managing Director at Sierra Ventures. Prior to joining Sierra, Steve held senior executive positions with Marimba (Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales & COO), Tivoli Systems (Vice President, West US) and Bishop Graphics (Vice President and General Manager).
Tom Naughton
is Managing Director at NeoCarta Ventures. Prior to joining NeoCarta, Tom was Vice President of GE Equity.
John Dyson
is Investment Principal at Starfish Ventures. Prior to co-founding Starfish, John was a General Manager of JAFCO Investment, and Chairman of the Australian Venture Capital Association.
Christopher Dawe
is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. He currently is with Goldman Sachs Investment Partners and primarily focuses on the US retail, consumer, and media sectors.
